Taj Singh

Taj Singh, CPA, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in both teaching and corporate financial management. Currently serving as a Sessional Lecturer in the Diploma in Accounting program at UBC Sauder School of Business since January 2023 and as a Course Instructor at Douglas College since January 2017, Taj has a strong commitment to education. Previously, Taj held the position of Corporate Accounting Manager at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, overseeing financial operations for over 80 subsidiaries across multiple currencies. Experience includes a role as Director of Professional Advisory Services at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC, where development of IFRS training materials took place, and earlier positions at Open Solutions and Deloitte & Touche, focused on financial analysis, auditing, and compliance. Taj holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from The University of British Columbia.
