Syed Saad Ali

Syed Saad Ali is a Senior Process Metallurgist at DRA Global since January 2021, with a track record of leading and contributing to various feasibility studies and scoping projects primarily focused on lithium, copper, and gold. Previously, Syed held multiple roles at SGS from June 2017 to December 2020, including Metallurgist and Project Manager for various mineral processing projects, particularly in lithium and other minerals. Earlier experience includes proposal and mineral process engineering training at Westpro Machinery Inc., research assistance at McGill University, and an internship at AkzoNobel. Syed holds an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and an engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, along with a visiting graduate student designation at the Schulich School of Business, focusing on Global Metals & Minerals Management.
