Rode Chavana has over 10 years of experience in human resources. Rode started their career as an HR intern at EEOC, where they supported the Investigation Unit by conducting interviews, analyzing case files, and ensuring compliance with employment discrimination laws. Rode then worked as an HR representative at First Community Credit Union, providing administrative and functional support to managers and employees. At GE Oil & Gas, Rode served as an HR representative, supporting a team of managers and employees in areas such as recruitment, benefits, and employee relations. Rode later became an HR leader, providing support to approximately 300 employees across multiple locations.
In 2014, Rode joined Baker Hughes, a GE company, as an HR manager. In this role, they provided guidance and coaching to senior leaders and employees, managed HR fundamentals and processes, and supported organizational change and effectiveness. Rode was also responsible for recruitment, compliance, and diversity initiatives. Finally, Rode is currently the VP of Human Resources at Dresser Utility Solutions, where they have played a key role in leading a $321M divestiture from GE. Rode has overseen the implementation and integration of a $180M standalone business and has been involved in all aspects of the divestiture transaction.
Rode Chavana completed a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Houston Christian University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Houston between 2005 and 2009.
