Kyle Shields is a seasoned game designer with a diverse background in gameplay, combat design, and quality analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Gameplay Designer at Drop Fake since May 2025, Kyle previously held the role of Senior Combat Designer at Brass Lion Entertainment and worked as a Combat Designer at Timbre Games. Earlier experience includes positions at Phoenix Labs as a Game Designer and Quality Analyst, as well as owning and managing e-sports events through Rain City Smash and Trash Tier Gaming. Additional roles include Quality Analyst at Kabam, focusing on game balance for Transformers: Forged to Fight, and Quality Analyst/Developer Support at Electronic Arts, contributing to various projects. In 2014, Kyle also served as an instructor for a summer program at Douglas College.
