Bruce Tonkin

Bruce Tonkin is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the domain and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at auDA since May 2017, Bruce spearheads initiatives related to the future operations of the .au zone. In parallel, Bruce is a member of the Board of Directors at Dropsuite. Previously, Bruce held significant leadership roles at Melbourne IT as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer, and at ICANN as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. With a career beginning at Monash University and including a consultancy position at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Bruce brings a wealth of expertise and strategic insight, bolstered by a Bachelor of Engineering with first-class honors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
