Shuren Lin

Shuren Lin currently serves as an Assistant Director at the Ministry of Defence of Singapore since March 2023, and has been a Senior Research Engineer at DSO National Laboratories since August 2013, focusing on fundamental and applied materials research and development, as well as establishing characterization capabilities. Previously, Shuren Lin held the position of Artillery Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces from March 2008 to January 2009, serving as a NSF Battery Commander and engaging in various instructional and administrative roles. Shuren Lin's academic background includes a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master’s degree from Stanford University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Imperial College London, complemented by a summer program at Hanyang University.
