Stephen Strum

Stephen Strum is a seasoned meteorologist with extensive experience in both management and education. Currently serving as Weather Risk Senior Manager-Long Range at DTN since November 2018, Stephen also held the position of Vice President of Extended Forecast Services at Earth to Space Science from September 2018 to October 2023, a role that involved class demonstrations, science projects, and online content creation. Prior to that, Stephen founded and presided over Frontier Weather, Inc. from June 2003 to December 2019, subsequently selling the company to Weather Decision Technologies Inc., where a Vice President role was also held until November 2018. Stephen has taught meteorology courses at both Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma and has a strong background in weather forecasting from positions at Williams Energy. Stephen holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, both in Meteorology.
