Kiley Sobel

Kiley Sobel, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of UX research. From May 2021 to March 2023, they worked as a Senior UX Researcher at Duolingo. Kiley then transitioned to the role of Staff UX Researcher at the same company in March 2023. Prior to that, Kiley worked at the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop. Kiley started as a Research Associate in June 2018 and later became a Research Scientist in January 2019. Kiley remained with the organization until April 2021.

Kiley Sobel, PhD received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Harvey Mudd College in 2013. Kiley later pursued their PhD in Human Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington, where they studied from 2013 to 2018.
