John Hilderbrand II serves as Duquesne Light Company’s Vice President of Operations. He was named to the role on July 8, 2021. With more than 30 years of operations and utility experience, he oversees DLC’s critical operations functions. Prior to joining the company in 2015, Hilderbrand served in various positions at West Penn Power Company, Allegheny Power and First Energy. He holds an Associate degree in electrical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Hilderbrand is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania.
