Michael Savaglio

Michael Savaglio currently serves as a Senior Operations Manager at Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc., where responsibilities include overseeing the commercial operations of modern Bulk Carriers and coordinating various commercial aspects of voyages. Prior to this role, Michael gained experience as an Operations Assistant at SUNY Maritime College, supervising the development and training of cadets, and as an Adjunct Instructor at Sea School, teaching Limited Captain and Radar Renewal courses. Earlier positions also include serving as Second Mate and Third Mate at Sealift Inc., where voyage planning and monitoring vessel performance were key tasks, as well as working as a Deckhand at Fire Island Ferries. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Transportation from the State University of New York Maritime College and a USCG Deck License.
