Trevor Treasure

Trevor Treasure, PhD, serves as the Cellulose Esters Process Technology Group Leader and Research and Development Engineer at Eastman since May 2013, specializing as a Cellulosic Raw Material Expert. Responsibilities include managing the cellulose raw material evaluation program and improving lab-scale protocols for simulating pulp performance. Additionally, Trevor holds an adjunct professorship at North Carolina State University in the Department of Forest Biomaterials. Prior experience includes consulting for various petroleum and pulp and paper companies, analyzing water quality for the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, and conducting research on hydrogen storage at the North Carolina Solar Center. Trevor holds dual PhDs in Forest Biomaterials and Chemical Engineering, as well as bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering and Paper Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University.
