Melissa F. Adasme is a Data Mining Scientist at the European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI since January 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD student at the Schroeder Bioinformatics Group, BIOTEC, TU Dresden from April 2016 to January 2022, and as a Research Assistant in the same group from October 2014 to July 2015. Melissa also completed an internship during this period. Educational qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden, earned between March 2017 and June 2021, and a degree in Bioinformatics Engineering from Universidad de Talca, completed in 2015.
