Sarah Plummer, PE, is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in water and wastewater management. Currently employed at EBMUD since October 2018, Sarah has held various positions, including Senior Civil Engineer focusing on Raw Water and Treatment, and Associate Civil Engineer on several water treatment and wastewater project management initiatives. Prior to EBMUD, Sarah worked as a Junior Water Process Engineer at Corona Environmental Consulting, LLC, and served as a Teaching Assistant at UC Davis, where responsibilities included leading laboratory sessions and designing course materials. Sarah's teaching experience also extends to Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where modules on Environmental Technology and Renewable Energy were developed and taught. Early career experiences include internships with Ramboll Environ and the Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale, where research on groundwater exploitation was conducted. Sarah holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Princeton University.
