Lena Nickel

Lena Nickel is an Environmental Specialist at Ecochain since April 2025, focusing on conducting life cycle assessments, customer support, and data analysis. Previously, as a Researcher and Content Writer at Ecochain Technologies from September 2022 to July 2024, Lena developed content for the company's knowledge blog, covering topics like sustainability reporting, ecodesign, and LCA methodologies. Lena's academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Energy Science from Utrecht University, completed in January 2024, along with a thesis on industrial-scale electrochemical CO2 reduction. Additional experience includes data management at Zonnepark Services Nederland and data analysis for EV-charging station performance. Lena has also served as a Teaching Assistant at Utrecht University, supporting natural science education.
