Sam De Boo is executive vice president and president of Western Europe for Ecolab, the global leader in water, food safety and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and vital resources. In this role, he is responsible for the broad scope of Ecolab’s business within Western Europe.
Previously, De Boo was senior vice president, Industrial sector, Europe. He also had stints running the Food & Beverage and Textile Care businesses in Europe. He joined Ecolab in 2009 as vice president of Marketing for the Institutional Division in the Europe, Middle East & Africa region.
Prior to Ecolab, De Boo held multiple sales, marketing and general management roles at Unilever in Netherlands, Switzerland and Asia Pacific.
De Boo holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology in Netherlands.
