Juliette Trey

Juliette Trey currently holds the position of Directrice at Musée Fabre since May 2025 and serves as an Enseignante d'histoire générale de l'art (XVIIIe siècle) at Ecole du Louvre since November 2022. Prior to these roles, Juliette Trey was Directrice adjointe du département des études et de la recherche and briefly served as Directrice du département des études et de la recherche par intérim at Institut national d'histoire de l'art from January 2019 to May 2025. Juliette Trey also worked as Adjointe au directeur du département des Arts graphiques and Conservatrice du patrimoine at Musée du Louvre from October 2013 to December 2018, focusing on French drawings from the 17th and 18th centuries. Experience also includes the position of Conservatrice du patrimoine for paintings and pastels of the 18th century at Château de Versailles from July 2007 to October 2013, and internships at The Frick Collection and Musée du Château de Compiègne. Juliette Trey holds several degrees related to museum studies and art history from prestigious institutions including l'Institut national du patrimoine and Université Paris-Sorbonne.
