John Merritt

John Merritt has extensive experience in the fields of computer information science and network engineering. Currently serving as an Academic Instructor at ECPI University since January 2005, John teaches in the Department of Computer Information Science for both AS and BS curricula. Previous roles include Computer Analyst at TEKSOURCE, where John focused on computer and network design and implementation for small businesses, and Senior Network Engineer positions at various companies, including Lucent Technology and TRW Federal Systems, with responsibilities ranging from managing international projects to technical writing for government projects. John has also worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for AT&T and participated in a significant project for AT&T International in South Korea. John holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University and an Engineer's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
