Sachu Simon

Sachu Simon has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sachu began their career as an Articled Clerk at V.Venugopal & Co. - Chartered Accountant from August 1988 to July 1991. Sachu then worked as a Junior Accountant at Tata Steel from October 1992 to September 1994. Sachu Simon joined Borneo Maritime Ltd as the General Manager for Hong Kong & China in December 1995, serving in that position until January 2002. Sachu moved on to Norgistics, where they worked as a Sales Manager from February 2002 to November 2003. Following this, Sachu Simon joined DB Schenker, Hong Kong as the General Manager for Emerging Markets from November 2003 to March 2008. Sachu then moved to Agility Logistics Ltd. and held various roles including Director Trade Lane for the Asia Pacific Region - Emerging Markets from April 2008 to November 2010 and Senior Director of Ocean Freight for the Greater China Region from December 2010 to December 2011. Sachu Simon joined Toll Global Forwarding in December 2011 and served as the Director Trade Lane for ISC, Intra Asia & MEA (Asia Region) until May 2013. Sachu was then promoted to the role of Global Head of Trade Lane from June 2013 to June 2014, and later became the Managing Director for ISC & ME from July 2014 to June 2017. Moving on, Sachu Simon joined Allcargo Logistics Ltd as the Chief Operating Officer for Asia from July 2017 to March 2018. Sachu is currently working at ECU Worldwide, where they have held several positions including Global Head - Ocean from April 2018 to May 2019, CEO - Asia Pacific from June 2019 to August 2021, and currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer - Ocean Procurement, FCL & Air Product starting from September 2021.

Sachu Simon completed their CA (Intermediate) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1988 to 1991. They also obtained an ICWAI (Intermediate) degree from The Institute of Costs and Works and Accountants of India during the same time period. Prior to that, they completed their B.Com degree in Commerce from St. Thomas College (RSU), Bhilai, India from 1986 to 1988. They also completed their 12th class in Commerce from MGM school, Bhilai, India from 1984 to 1986. Their education began at MGM School, Bhilai, India from 1978 to 1986, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
