Dongxuan Shen

Dongxuan Shen is an experienced leader in the diagnostics and biotechnology fields, currently serving as a Director at Edan Diagnostics since July 2021 and as Director of IVD Technology at Edan Instruments, Inc. since June 2016. With prior roles including Chief Scientist/Team Lead and Principal Scientist/Project Leader at i-SENS, Dongxuan specializes in hemoglobin A1c assay development and glucose sensor/POCT assay system development. Dongxuan's expertise encompasses assay design, reagent formulation, project management, and instrumentation development. This expertise is supported by a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, where Dongxuan conducted significant research in sensor development and analytical chemistry.
