Balu B

Balu B is a seasoned database administrator with extensive experience in cloud-based solutions and AWS architecture. Currently serving as a Senior DBA with AWS Solutions Architect at Edelman Financial Engines since April 2021, Balu has held key roles at Nexstar Media Group, Bank of America, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where expertise in cloud database administration was further developed. Prior roles include SQL and MySQL DBA positions at Happiest Minds Technologies and HCL Technologies, as well as a lead associate role at Genpact. Balu's career began at Microsoft as a Senior Developer, followed by a position at IBM as a Senior MS SQL Server DBA. Balu holds a Master of Computer Applications degree from Anna University Chennai, completed in 2008.
