Niranjan Avasthi has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Niranjan currently holds the position of Sr. VP & Head of Product, Marketing & Digital at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Product, Marketing & Digital at the same company from 2017 to 2022. Before joining Edelweiss, they worked at ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd as the Head of Product Communication from August 2010 to April 2017. Niranjan also has experience as a Senior Relationship Manager at Reliance Mutual Fund from May 2008 to July 2010 and as a Relationship Manager at ICICI Securities from January 2007 to May 2008. Niranjan'sprofessional journey began as an Assistant Manager at Sharekhan Ltd in 2006.
Niranjan Avasthi started their education at Dastur Boys School in Pune, where they received their SSC degree in 2000. Niranjan pursued their higher education at Savitribai Phule Pune University, earning an M Com degree in Business Administration in 2008. In 2010, they completed a PGDMM in Marketing from the same university. Later, in 2011 and 2012, Niranjan attended the Institute of Cost Accountants of India-ICAI, obtaining a CMA/ICWA degree in Cost and Management Accounting. In 2018, they became a CFA Candidate after studying at the CFA Institute in the USA.
