Joe Souto

Joe Souto has over two decades of experience in legal leadership roles, primarily at EDF Energy since January 2002, where current responsibilities include serving as General Counsel for Corporate and Customers, as well as Company Secretary. Previous positions at EDF Energy encompass Legal Affairs Director, Head of Legal for various divisions, and other roles focusing on governance and customer legal matters. Prior to joining EDF Energy, Joe Souto worked as a Commercial Solicitor at Seeboard Plc from July 1997 to January 2002. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Anglia Ruskin University, obtained between 1992 and 1995.
