Jan-Mikael Huhtala

Jan-Mikael Huhtala has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles, currently serving as Chief Legal Officer at Alandia Försäkring since June 2010, where responsibilities have included Chief Legal and Compliance Officer and Group Legal Counsel. Prior positions include Lawyer at Uotila & Mattsson and Law Clerk at The District Court of Åland. Jan-Mikael began a legal career as a Legal Adviser in Financial Affairs for the Government of Åland and briefly worked as a Senior Tax Clerk for the Finnish Tax Administration. Academic credentials include an Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics from Copenhagen Business School and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance from FINVA Finanssikoulutus Oy, alongside a Master of Laws from Uppsala University.
