Sara Throndson

Sara Throndson is a Senior Project Development Manager at EDF Renewables North America, overseeing project development since October 2023. With extensive experience in the energy industry, Sara worked at ERM for 16 years, performing as an Area Manager and Principal Consultant/Natural Resource Specialist. Responsibilities included managing environmental consultation and permit application processes. Sara also contributed to the City of Bloomington Sustainability Commission and served as an Environmental Scientist at Houston Engineering Inc., focusing on transmission line corridor studies. Additional experience includes instructing on onsite sewage treatment systems at the University of Minnesota and conducting urban water quality research at Spectrum Research. Sara holds a Master's degree in Soil Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Northland College.
