Ommid Saberi is an accomplished Senior Industry Specialist in Green Buildings at the International Finance Corporation since April 2014 and serves as Global Co-lead for EDGE Buildings. Ommid holds key leadership roles, including Global Lead and Product Manager for the Building Resilience Index and Co-Chair of the GlobalABC Green Building Finance Hub. Previous experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Emirates Green Building Council and working as Associate Director and Head of Sustainability & Energy at WSP Middle East. Ommid has also held positions at APRS as Managing Director, and was a lecturer at the University of Tehran and Islamic Azad University. Ommid completed a Ph.D. in Energy and Architecture from Shahid Beheshti University and a Master's Degree in Architecture from Yazd University.
