Diogo Leal de Faria

Diogo Leal de Faria is an experienced executive in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Executive Director for the Renewable Generation Assets Platform and Strategy & Transformation Lead at EDP, while also holding executive positions on various boards including EDP Produção and EDP Global Solutions. With a robust background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, and business strategy, Diogo has contributed significantly to EDP since 2011, holding various roles including CFO for Conventional Generation and Director of Global Procurement. Diogo's education includes an MBA from INSEAD and executive training in Negotiation and Leadership from Harvard University, complemented by a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Energy Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico. Additionally, Diogo is a board member at Abono Generaciones Electricas and has been involved with APREN as a board of directors member from 2021 to 2024.
