Joseph Martineau is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in assessment and accountability. Currently serving as Executive Director at ETS since August 2019, Joseph previously held the position of Senior Associate at the Center for Assessment from December 2014 to August 2019, where focus was on enhancing educational policies. Prior to this, Joseph held various roles at the Michigan Department of Education, including Deputy Superintendent for Accountability Services, where responsibilities encompassed managing multiple offices related to assessment and accountability. Joseph's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Measurement and Quantitative Methods in Education from Michigan State University, along with an M.S. in Instructional Science and a B.A. in Linguistics, both from Brigham Young University.
