Alessandro De Mauro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing strategic alliances and public funding across the EMEA, Canada, and Latin America regions. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Public Funding & Strategic Alliances at Edwards Lifesciences, Alessandro previously held the role of Operations Manager External Funding at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies, coordinating European and cross-sector initiatives and aligning business needs with external R&D collaborations. With a strong background in research management, including roles at KU Leuven, Vicomtech-IK4, and research positions focused on augmented and virtual reality applications, Alessandro has developed a solid expertise in healthcare innovations. Alessandro holds a PhD in Biomedical Technology from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Università del Salento.
