Egress
Robin Bell is the current Chief Information Security Officer at Egress. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President for Operations at Egress Software Technologies from December 2016 to August 2019. In this role, Robin was responsible for leading all aspects of operations including customer service desk, operational support, deployment & automation, internal IT and security operations to deliver SaaS platforms for enterprise customers.
Before joining Egress, Robin spent two years as the Head of Application Services Group at Vodafone. In this role, they were accountable for the design, delivery and support of complex private cloud solutions based on Microsoft and Unix platforms and applications. Robin managed a team of 82 people with a departmental budget of over £10 million.
Robin has a broad and in-depth knowledge of technologies as well as commercial and contractual skills. Robin is an excellent leader and motivator, with the ability to mentor key team members and ensure succession planning. Robin is also experienced in providing cost analysis and commercial input to commercial modelling, as well as contract management.
Robin Bell studied Electronic Systems and Control Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating with a BEngs (Hons).
Robin Bell reports to Tony Pepper Board, CEO. They work with Clint Poole - Chief Marketing Officer, Steven Malone - VP, Product Management, and Richard Green - Director of Security & Compliance.
