Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Matthew started their career as an Engineer In Training at TELUS, where they gained experience in access design, wireless performance, and network configuration. Matthew later became a Client Service Manager, responsible for managing large complex deals and reporting analytics. In 2017, Matthew worked as a Masters Thesis Researcher at Greenspread, where they developed forecasting and control algorithms for a Virtual Power Plant. Currently, they are the Director of Cloud Services at Eguana Technologies, overseeing product applications and coordinating projects.

Matthew Thompson graduated from the University of Alberta in 2006 with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2016, they pursued a Master of Science degree in EUREC European Master of Renewable Energy at Hanzehogeschool Groningen/Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. The following year, in 2017, they obtained a Masters of Science degree in EUREC Masters of Renewable Energy from the University of Zaragoza.
