Sean Ways

Sean brings more than 25 years of experience to this role and a strong background in programming and cybersecurity in health care and other industries. Most recently, Sean served as the software engineering lead for ISACA, following its purchase of CMMI, a spin-off of Carnegie Mellon’s Software Engineering Institute, where he is credited with modernizing the technical systems and infrastructure. Highlights from his tenure include a successful boutique software development engagement with the FDA to build a continuous improvement model and the supporting technology for medical device development. Under his leadership, several commercial SaaS products were launched, which continue to perform well in the market today.
