H. David Hares

H. David Hares, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Einstein Healthcare Network since April 2014, focusing on Patient Safety and Performance Improvement, as well as being the Chairman of the Medication Safety Committee. Prior to this role, Hares was the Associate Chairman for Quality and Patient Safety at Cigna-HealthSpring and worked as a hospitalist at Albert Einstein Medical Center. Hares began medical training as an Internal Medicine Resident and previously served as a Medical Manager and Primary Care Physician at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires. Hares holds an MBA in Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and has completed medical degrees from the University of Buenos Aires.
