Philip Kennedy has over 15 years of experience in the electrical and electronic engineering field, primarily within EirGrid Group. Since January 2015, Philip has held various prominent roles, including Team Lead in the Programme Management Office and Senior Lead Engineer in both the Project Management Office and Transmission Engineering and Maintenance. Prior to joining EirGrid, Philip worked at ESB International from September 2009 to December 2014 as a Project Engineer and High Voltage Substation Design Engineer, following an undergraduate work placement in 2008. Philip holds a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from University College Cork, obtained from 2005 to 2009, after completing secondary education at St. Joseph's College, Borrisoleigh, Tipperary.
