Jose-Manuel Leceta

Jose Manuel Leceta Garcia PhD is a seasoned leader in innovation and sustainability, currently serving as Director General at INNOVA IRV since January 2023 and Co-founder and Chairman of the Advisory Board at the Insight Foresight Institute since July 2015. Previously, experience includes roles as Chief Innovation and Sustainability Officer at Autoridad Portuaria de Alicante, Director General at Red.es, and Executive Director at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. A long-standing tenure at CDTI spans nearly two decades in various capacities, alongside leadership at the European Space Agency and Thales Alenia Space. Academically, Jose holds a Doctor Engineer degree in European Innovation Policy from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and has participated in various specialized programs at prestigious institutions including MIT and Babson College.
