Joel Bagwell

Joel Bagwell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in optical engineering and systems development within the defense and aerospace industries. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Systems Engineer at Elbit Systems of America, Bagwell leads integrated product teams in the development of advanced electro-optic imaging and targeting systems. Previous roles include Director of Research and Development at Brandywine Photonics, focusing on next-generation optics for satellite payloads, and Director of Research and Development at Edmund Optics, where Bagwell oversaw a multi-disciplinary team and managed technology roadmaps.
