Diego Calvo

Diego Calvo currently serves as the Responsable Técnico de Automatización at Grupo Elecnor since May 2022. Prior to this role, Diego held the position of Head of the Electrical Department at KROWN, Servicios Integrales de Fundición S.A. from November 2015 to June 2022, managing a team of ten and overseeing continuous improvement projects. As a Maintenance & CI Engineer at MTorres America from June 2011 to November 2015, Diego managed a new maintenance department and executed modifications for PLC and CNC systems. Diego’s career includes roles at Sampol, Millennium Control Systems, Siemens, and EDASA Ingeniería y Montaje, focusing on electrical design, PLC programming, and automation processes across various industries including metallurgy, food, and pharmaceuticals. Diego holds a Master's degree in Industrial Communication and Control from Universidad Católica de Ávila and an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de Alcalá.
