Sean Date has extensive experience in mechanical design and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Draughtsman at Electrified Automation since September 2021. Prior roles include Contract Mechanical Designer at Edwards Vacuum, Contract Design Engineer at Ashwoods Electric Motors, and Mechanical Design Engineer at SCM Handling. Previous tenure at Edwards spanned six years, encompassing positions from Mechanical Designer to Senior Mechanical Designer. Sean also contributed as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Chick Master and worked part-time as an Associate Lecturer at Bridgwater College, teaching AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Project Engineer at James Tobias Ltd and CAD Specialist/Production Engineer at Trelleborg. Educational background includes an HNC in Engineering Design & Manufacture from the University of Plymouth and earlier studies at Bridgwater & Taunton College and Chilton Trinity School.
