Rajiv Prakash has extensive experience in the steel industry. Rajiv started their career as an Assistant Manager at Malvika Steel Ltd in 1992 and worked there for almost ten years. Rajiv then joined Jindal Steel & Power Ltd as an Assistant General Manager for a year before moving on to Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd as a Senior General Manager from 2007 to 2010. Rajiv continued their career at Bhushan Steel Ltd as a Senior General Manager for two more years. In 2012, they joined Electrosteel Steels Ltd as a Senior General Manager in the Blast Furnace department and held the position until 2016. Rajiv then became the Assistant Vice President (Operation) at Electrosteel Steels Ltd until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President at Electrosteel Group.
Rajiv Prakash completed their High School education at Rajghat Besant School in Varanasi from 1975 to 1983. Rajiv then pursued Intermediate Science at Colvin Taluqdar's College in Lucknow from 1983 to 1985. Finally, they attended Bihar Institute of Technology and obtained a B.Sc.Engg. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from 1986 to 1990.

Electrosteel Castings Limited is a pipeline solution provider. The Company is engaged in the business of manufacturing Ductile Iron (DI) Pipes, Ductile Iron Fittings (DIF) and Cast Iron (CI) Pipes. It provides techno-economic solutions for water supply and sewerage systems. It is also involved in the execution of turnkey projects as an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for infrastructure projects, including sourcing, treatment and distribution in its portfolio of services. Its range of pipes include DI socket and spigot pipe with push-on and DI flanged pipe. Its range of fittings include DI fittings with push-on type restrained joint and DI mechanical joint fittings with rubber gasket and follower gland. Its manufacturing facility at Khardah produces DIF and Pig Iron. The CI spun pipes are manufactured at the Company facility in Elavur (Tamil Nadu), while Low Ash Metallurgical Coke (LAMC) is produced at the Industrial Unit at Haldia (West Bengal).
