Ben Allred

Ben Allred has worked in various fields since 2007. Ben began as a Summer Intern at the National Cancer Institute (NCI). From 2008 to 2014, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, and then as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Postdoctoral Scholar at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Stanford University School of Medicine, respectively. In 2017, they became a Sr. Scientist at Complete Genomics Inc. and is currently a Senior Scientist at ELEGEN.

Ben Allred received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University between 2002 and 2008. Ben then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2013.
