Joe Dierdorf

Joe Dierdorf is a finance professional with extensive experience in corporate accounting and advisory roles. Currently serving as Vice President and Corporate Controller at Element Biosciences since April 2024, Dierdorf previously held the position of Corporate Controller at SoftBank Group International from March 2019 to September 2020. Dierdorf's experience also includes independent consulting from December 2014 to March 2019, providing advisory services for significant mergers and acquisitions, notably with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Western Digital. Prior to that, Dierdorf served as VP for Finance and Assistant Corporate Controller at SAIC, Inc., where responsibilities included leading corporate accounting for a company with over $11 billion in annual revenues. Additional roles include Assistant Corporate Controller at Solectron and Director in M&A Transaction Services at PwC, co-founding a Silicon Valley-based M&A advisory group. Dierdorf holds an MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Accounting from LeMoyne College.
