Pooja Kate

Pooja Kate is a seasoned professional in quality control and analytical processes within the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of QC Cell Therapy Analytics at ElevateBio since December 2023. Previous experience includes managerial and scientific roles at Emergent BioSolutions, Takeda, and AbbVie, where responsibilities encompassed quality control and analytical method development. Pooja began a career in biotechnology as a Scientist at Oncobiologics Inc., following positions as a Laboratory Analyst at Blue Stream Laboratories and In Vitro Pharmacologist at Pfizer. Early career experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Tufts University and the Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Nanomedicine focused on drug delivery systems and cancer research. Pooja holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai.
