James Innes

James Innes is an experienced leader in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of UK Development at ELMYA since February 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing a portfolio of projects from initial stages through to financial closure. Previously, James held the role of Director for UK Project Development & Business at Peridot Solar and KINGDOM ENERGY LTD, directing teams to deliver substantial solar projects and managing project pipelines. An independent consultant for renewable developments, James has a solid foundation in project management acquired during roles at ScottishPower and Iberdrola, as well as engineering experience from early positions at Baker Hughes and Dresser, Inc. James holds an MBA and other qualifications in engineering management and technology from Robert Gordon University.
