Daniel Anderson

Special Assistant to the President at Elon University

Dan Anderson has been a leader of Elon University's communications programs since 1998. He is a member of the president's senior staff and works on projects for the Office of the President. At Elon he has helped create and implement communications for the completion of two comprehensive fundraising campaigns and three 10-year strategic plans, the creation of a School of Law, and the completion of a major brand study and creation of a new graphic identity system. He has led development and evolution of the university's Web site as well as the establishment and growth of Elon's social media platforms. Earlier in his Elon career, he led communications for the institution's transition from college to university and for the adoption of a new athletics mascot.
