Thanos Tsotsoros is the founder of ThaTOne Capital, an independent financial advisory boutique in Athens, Greece, specializing in financial and operational restructuring, capital raising, and M&A since April 2019. Additionally, Thanos serves as an independent non-executive board member and chairman of the audit committee at ELTRAK S.A. since July 2019. Previously, Thanos held the position of chairman of the board at Mayor Hotels & Resorts from April 2019 to June 2022, where a successful capital raising effort resulted in €18 million in preferred equity. Thanos also has extensive experience in corporate finance and restructuring through positions at KPMG Greece as partner and head of corporate finance and restructuring, as well as director roles at New Proton Bank and Egnatia Securities S.A. Thanos began the professional journey as a special advisor in the Economic Office of the Prime Minister of Greece after earning a BSc in Economics from UCL and an MA in International Studies from the University of Reading.
