Anna Alasalmi

Anna Alasalmi is an experienced professional currently serving as a Programme Officer at EMBL since September 2022. Previously, Anna held various administrative roles at the European Bioinformatics Institute from May 2018 to September 2022, including Administrative Officer, and worked at St Edmund's College and St Catharine's College, University of Cambridge in several capacities from 2010 to 2018. Anna's early career included positions as a Billing Support Representative at Jagex Games Studio, a Web Tester at The Skill Shop Services, and a Project Assistant at Netplaza Oy in Finland, as well as a Receptionist at Rokua Spa and Wellness Centre. Anna holds a Master of Science degree in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu, obtained between 2001 and 2008.
