Julia Chasco

Julia Chasco currently serves as a Programme Officer at the World Meteorological Organization, responsible for monitoring technical aspects of the project portfolio and promoting collaboration across departments to enhance project delivery. Previously, Julia held the position of Head of the Meteorology and Society Department at the National Meteorological Service, where responsibilities included institutional relations regarding Disaster Risk Reduction and advising on Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems. Additional experience includes roles as a Communication Assistant at the Argentine Parliament, a Research Assistant at CEDOP, and a General Co-Coordinator at the French-Argentine Center of High Studies. Julia Chasco’s educational background includes postgraduate training in Sustainable Finance and Inclusive Finance, a Master's degree in Public Policy, and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, among other qualifications.
