Rogier Janssens

Rogier Janssens serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Latin America Healthcare at EMD Serono, Inc. since May 2022. Prior to this role, Janssens held significant positions at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, including General Manager and Managing Director for Biopharma in China from August 2017 to May 2022, and Head of Russia and CIS markets from September 2013 to May 2022. A long tenure at Alcon Laboratories, Inc. spanned from September 2001 to August 2013, during which Janssens served as General Manager for Alcon Russia, Area Director for Nordic and Baltic markets, and held various marketing roles within the international glaucoma portfolio. Janssens began a career in pharmaceuticals at Alcon Netherlands BV as Sales and Marketing Manager and started in the industry at Teva Pharmaceuticals as a Product Manager in Neurology for the Benelux region.
