Roger Blackman has held increasingly senior roles at Barbados Light & Power Company and Emera Inc. over his 26 years with the company. He was appointed Managing Director of BL&P in 2016. Previously, he held the position of Senior Director, Business Development at Emera.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Dominica Electricity Services (DOMLEC), St Lucia Electricity Services (LUCELEC) and the Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC). He is a member and Past President of the Barbados Association of Professional Engineers.
Roger holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus and a Master of Business Administration from Durham University in England.
