Ryan Shell is the President of New Mexico Gas, the largest natural gas utility in New Mexico.
Ryan joined the company in 2009. As a Certified Public Accountant, he has served as Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Controller. Prior to joining New Mexico Gas, Ryan held various leadership roles at SEMCO Energy, a natural gas utility with operations in Michigan and Alaska. Previously, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant at BDO Seidman, a national accounting and consulting firm.
Ryan received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oakland University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico.
He currently serves on the boards of United Way of Central New Mexico, Albuquerque Economic Development, Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, Kirtland Partnership Committee and Western Energy Institute.
