Karen Stewart

Karen Stewart, CMP has a wealth of experience in the events and exhibitions industry. Karen held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Conference Assistant at BillCom Expositions and Conference Group in 1990. Karen then progressed to become an Account Executive at VNU Expositions (formerly BillCom) in 1994. Karen continued to advance in their career, taking on the role of Conference Director at VNU Expositions, and later transitioning to become the Director of Group Show Management at Nielsen Business Media (formerly VNU). In 2002, they became the Group Operations Director at Nielsen Business Media (Nielsen Expositions), a position they held until 2013 when they took on the role of Senior Operations Director at Emerald Expositions (formerly Nielsen Expositions). Karen's most recent position has been Vice President, Operations at Emerald since December 2018.

Karen Stewart, CMP earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Guilford College in 1990. Karen also holds additional certifications including a Six Sigma Green Belt from ExpertRating in 2012 and a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation from the Convention Industry Council in 1994. Karen also obtained the Nielsen BPI Basics certification in 2011.
